Cades Cove July
Well I took a few days off and headed to Cades Cove. I can't seem to tire of the place, Their is just so much natural beauty there.
I arrived there late Thursday afternoon, Drove the loop for alittle while. I stopped by the cherry trees and what do you know, I can across some rangers. I looked up into the Cherry trees and there sits the bear. So I pull off and hope out. Snapped a few shot and got to sit and chat with the rangers. It was nice listening to the stories they tell you and If your lucky and get a nice one they will show you some great places to stand to get the best shots.
Well we sat for a good hour while this bear just munched away at the berries. Well a car came by and the driver shouted to the ranger to be prepared there's another bear coming through the field . At first we weren't sure if the guy had been seeing things, but about 15mins later we look over and sure enough we see a bear pop there head up in the field.
So the ranger had the people that showed up separate, some went to the ranger on one side and some on the other. I was lucky and stayed with the ranger closet to the tree and bear, so when the other bear came though the field I was in the perfect spot to get shots. Both bears sat in the same tree for a good 5 to 10mins before things became interesting. The bigger bear that had come through the field chased the smaller bear that had been enjoying the berries out of the tree. The Chase began, through 2 trees and then the smaller bear retreated to the nearby field.

Cades Cove
Some TOP ( Tennessee Outdoor Photography) members and I meetup in Cades Cove. When we arrived it was about 6:15 in the Morning the Fog was rolling in and the sun was just coming through the fog. The Deer were all over the place. Several Doe were out and Many Bucks. We came across a field full of Bucks, They were munching on Blackberries and clovers.
We came off a trail and these handsome guys were just waiting for us. We were only several feet from them. I sat on a log to get a few of these shots. As you can tell the deer sure watched every move we made.
